Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: [DATE — set on publication]

[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] — This Acceptable Use Policy is a working draft. The final policy will be reviewed by qualified legal counsel and published before public launch.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the Stamped Terms of Service and applies to everything you do on the Platform — Deals, delivered audio, profiles, and communications. Capitalised terms — Platform, Deal, Buyer, Artist, Stamp — have the meanings given in Section 1 of the Terms of Service. Breaching it can mean losing Deals in progress, your account, or both. How we handle your data is covered in the Privacy Policy.

1. Be who you say you are

  1. No impersonation of any artist or person, and no misrepresentation of your identity, catalogue, or affiliation. Selling a feature while posing as another artist is identity fraud — one of the two dispute categories Stamped adjudicates — and results in immediate termination.
  2. One account per person. Do not create additional, shared, or successor accounts, including to evade a suspension.
  3. No false statements in disputes, and no manufactured Deals or collusion to mint Stamps that do not reflect a real, paid collaboration.

2. Content rules — deliverables and profiles

These rules apply to delivered audio (masters and stems) and to profile content (names, bios, photos):

  1. No content that is unlawful in the UK or the US.
  2. No hate speech targeting protected classes. Rap is an art form built on confrontation and Stamped does not police creative expression, aggression, or explicit lyrics — but content whose purpose is dehumanising a protected class is prohibited.
  3. Child sexual abuse material: zero tolerance. Immediate termination and report to the relevant authorities (NCMEC / UK authorities), with no exceptions.
  4. No copyright-infringing material. The Artist warrants that they own or have cleared every element of the deliverable — including vocal performances, samples, interpolations, and beats — and that the Buyer can use it without infringing anyone’s rights (see Terms of Service, Section 8).

3. Do not go around the platform

Stamped’s 7% fee funds the payment protection, dispute handling, and verification record that make Deals safe. Once a Deal has been initiated on Stamped, taking the payment off-platform to avoid the fee — in whole or in part, including “pay the rest on CashApp” arrangements — is prohibited. Off-platform deals get none of Stamped’s protections and no Stamp. Circumvention has consequences: we may cancel the Deal, withhold the Stamp, and suspend the accounts involved; repeated circumvention results in termination.

4. Financial crime

  1. No money laundering: no use of Deals to move funds without a genuine underlying collaboration, no structuring, and no third-party funding designed to disguise the source of money.
  2. No use of Stamped by, or for the benefit of, persons or entities subject to UK, US (OFAC), UN, or EU sanctions, or from comprehensively sanctioned territories.
  3. We cooperate with Stripe’s compliance processes and with lawful requests from authorities, and we may freeze Deals or instruct Stripe to delay the release of payouts pending review.

5. Platform integrity

  1. No scraping, crawling, or bulk-harvesting of profiles, Stamps, or any platform data, whether by bot or by hand.
  2. No reverse engineering, probing, or circumventing of the platform’s security or access controls, including signed file URLs and authentication.
  3. No automated account creation, spam invitations, or interference with other users’ Deals.

6. Enforcement

Depending on severity, we may warn you, cancel Deals in progress, instruct Stripe to delay the release of payouts pending investigation, suspend or terminate your account, and report conduct to Stripe or to law enforcement. CSAM, identity fraud, and sanctions violations result in immediate termination. Stamps already minted remain public after termination, as described in the Terms of Service.

7. Reporting violations

Report suspected violations, infringing content, or fraud to legal@stampedfeatures.com. Include the Deal or profile link and what you believe is wrong. Rights holders may use the same address for takedown notices.
